Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Assist with MRDSS requirements and enhancement efforts for future readiness needs of the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS).
Serves as an MRDSS Subject Matter Specialist.
Serves as Medical Materiel Subject Matter Specialist.
Addresses and answers MRDSS Helpdesk inquiries.

Job Description:

Provides functional knowledge, skills, experience, and functional background information, and systems analysis support to the government as it pertains to the MRDSS application. Will serve as the primary liaison for medical materiel tracking within MRDSS. Will be heavily involved in MRDSS application requirements development, application interfacing, file transfers, integration concerns, testing, training, and help desk functions in support of MRDSS and the Air Force medical warfighting community.

Requirements:

Experience with and thorough familiarization with aspects of the Air Force Medical Service readiness policies and procedures.
Experience with and thorough familiarization with aspects of USAF readiness policies and procedures.
3-5 years of experienced, hands-on, working knowledge of the MRDSS application.
Must have working knowledge of MRDSS functionality to include, but not limited to: deployments, materiel, Medical Contingency Response Plan and Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program.
Knowledge, background and experience with the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Assemblage Management (AM) module; highly desirable.
Understanding how Assemblages are established, maintained, inventoried, and removed from DMLSS; highly desirable.
Experience with viewing, downloading and acting on Allowance Standard (AS) updates; highly desirable.
Understanding how AS updates are published and advertised to medical units; highly desirable.
Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship.
Must be able to pass a background screening.
